Marindi said the Department of Mines and Petroleum and earth works has approved its Program of Work (PoW) for the planned drill program at the Gem Pegmatite Mining Lease.

According to the company, drilling is planned to commence later this week and is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.

“The initial phase of drilling will be to test the pegmatite zone over a strike length of approximately 1.5 kilometres to determine dip, strike and thickness,” Marindi told the ASX.

Adertisement

“Previous historic drilling and more recent field mapping and soil sampling by Marindi has identified specialised Lithium, Caesium, Tantalum (LCT) pegmatites at several localities within the Gen Pegmatite mining lease.”
