The Australia China Minerals Investment Summit (ACMIS) 2013 aims to attract over 300 visitors including miners, explorers and policy makers in the minerals sector and more than 100 officials and decision-makers from mainland China. The Chinese delegates will come together to exchange information and to do business.

“Our Chinese partners for the Conference are:

  • China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers & Exporters
  • China Chamber of Commerce in Australia
  • China Mining Association
  • China Council for Promotion of International Trade
  • Australia China Mining Association
  • China Mining Club of Australia

The event will mix high profile plenary speakers with organised networking opportunities and and workshops to bring business opportunities and knowledge to Australian mining, exploration and related services companies. A dedicated exhibition area organised by the Minerals Council of Australia’s NT Division will be an integral part of the event,”www.nt.gov.au/

Minister for Mines and Energy, Mr Westra van Holthe said the Summit will be a prestigious and unique event for engagement with China.

“The rationale for holding an event in conjunction with South Australia is to showcase the significant mineral resources in both NT and SA. Together we attract a much larger investor audience,” Mr Westra Van Holthe said.

“The event is aimed at bringing business opportunities and spreading the knowledge of mining opportunities in the Territory and South Australia,” he added.
