AOG 2015, which will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 11-13 March, is the platform event for the Australian oil & gas industry. This year edition is expected to attract over 600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.

Over 15,000 visitors, exhibitors and conference delegates from around the world are expected to attend the event.

Surface Technology, whose Australian base is located in Jandakot, Perth, will be exhibiting alongside sister-company SIFCO ASC, which will be demonstrating the SIFCO Process®, using CGI video, to provide attendees with a first-hand look at the industry-renowned, portable, method for electroplating localised areas on components without the use of an immersion tank.

Adertisement

According to the press release by Surface Technology, the company has recently seen significant growth in demand for its component refurbishment and repair capability from customers operating in Australia, West Africa and Malaysia.

In these hostile operating environments, making the correct choice or application of surface coating is critical to optimising equipment performance and maximising service life.  This is precisely where the company’s expertise is unmatched, and where it continues to be the leading approved applicator for many of the foremost coating manufacturers and industry OEMs.

“Exhibiting at the AOG is an integral part of our calendar as we continue to increase our global capabilities and service,” said Lee Shelton, Managing Director of the Norman Hay Coatings Group, consisting of Surface Technology and SIFCO ASC.

“This year, attendees will get the chance to see the SIFCO Process® demonstrated, as well as speak to our technical experts who can offer advice on industry issues and guidance on selecting the right surface treatment to optimise the performance and life expectancy of critical components.”

Surface Technology will be exhibiting at AOG’s stand A19.
