
Early works good progress at Laverton Project
Magnetic Resources NL presented an update on the progress of early work being carried out by Blue Cap Mining at the Hawks Nest-Lady Julie gold discoveries, as previously advised in October 2022.
Magnetic said significant progress has already been achieved, with various studies having begun and some being completed or nearing completion.
For ongoing research, Magnetic identified a broad-scale study area containing the major ore zones across many of the Magnetic tenements. Work scopes were developed and distributed for quotes to appropriately qualified consultants.
Major strike and depth extensions at Diucon
De Grey Mining Limited has announced the most recent resource extension and infill drilling results from the Diucon discovery in Hemi.
De Grey said the Diucon mineralised intrusion had been intersected along a strike length of about 560m, a depth of about 900m, and a true thickness of around 300m. De Grey added that recent drilling had shown that mineralisation extends at least 400m down plunge to the WSW of the May 2022 mineral resource estimate and stays open.
Appointment of Chief Legal and Commercial Officer and Company Secretary
Australian Vanadium Limited (AVL) announced the appointment of Louis Mostert as Chief Legal and Commercial Officer and Joint Company Secretary, beginning 14 February 2023.
AVL said Mostert has been providing the company with professional guidance on a consulting basis for the past two years and has proven to be a valuable member of the AVL team. AVL added that Mostert has previous leadership experience and is a highly skilled general attorney and chartered company secretary.
Positive scoping study delivers robust economics for Austral’s Lady Colleen Copper Project
Austral Resources Australia Ltd announced the publication of a Scoping Study completed by CSA Global that investigates the feasibility of developing an open-cut mine at the Company’s Lady Colleen Project.
According to Austral, constructing the mine would greatly increase its copper production capacities and income base, which is already trending higher as Mt Kelly’s output levels ramp up.
Exploration Target confirmed at Green River Lithium Project
Anson Resources Limited announced a significant Exploration Target at its recently staked Green River Lithium Project in the Paradox Basin of south-eastern Utah, USA, reaffirming Mineral Resource potential comparable to Anson’s flagship asset, the neighbouring Paradox Lithium Project.
According to Anson, the JORC Mineral Resource of 1.038Mt of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) and 5.27Mt of Bromine at the Paradox Project is now being expanded through the Company’s Western Resource expansion drilling campaign.
Anson said all of the positive geological attributes of the Paradox Project, including rock units and stratigraphy, are present in the Green River Project.
Vital announces Board Changes
Vital Metals Limited Non-Executive Chairman Evan Cranston announced his immediate resignation from both positions and the board of directors of the companytoo concentrate on his other business activities.
Until Vital appoints a permanent replacement for the position, Richard Crookes, a current Non-Executive Director of the Company, has been named interim NonExecutive Chairman.
Successful completion of bookbuild for equity raise
Pantoro Limited announced that it had acquired definite commitments for a $75 million (before costs) institutional placement (Placement).
The Placement was announced on 13 February 2023, concurrently with Pantoro and Tulla Resources Plc’s announcement that they had signed a binding merger implementation deed for an all-scrip merger of Tulla and Pantoro via scheme of arrangement under the Companies Act 2006 (UK). Pantoro will acquire Tulla and consolidate 100% ownership and control of the Norseman Gold Project (Merger) under this arrangement.
