Anson Resources Limited announced that the federal and state government departments approved its site works inspection of drill locations for its Western Strategy Mineral Resource drilling program at the Paradox Lithium Project.

Anson and personnel from the United States Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM), as well as representatives from the Utah State Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining (UDOGM), have visited both drill sites for its Western Strategy drilling program, the Mineral Canyon well and the Sunburst well.

According to Anson, the site assessment discovered that the well locations are well indicated and that the drill pads needed for the re-entry program are easily re-established.

Anson said it intends to re-enter the Mineral Canyon and Sunburst wells in the Western Strategy drilling.

The program is intended to sample the thick Mississippian units and Pennsylvanian clastic horizons to augment the Paradox Lithium Project’s current JORC Mineral Resource of 1.04Mt of LCE and 5.27Mt of Bromine.

This program is part of Anson’s larger Mineral Resource growth strategy in the Paradox Basin, where drilling at the Green River Lithium Project, situated 50 kilometres to the north-west, is also slated to begin.

The project’s Western Strategy drilling will try to expand the existing JORC Mineral Resource estimate, both vertically and horizontally. This drilling will create a substantial amount of extra data, which will be used to improve the Mineral Resource.

The brines’ assay findings and flow tests are expected to result in the regions surrounding the wells being included in an enhanced JORC Mineral Resource at the Paradox Lithium Project.

According to Anson, the Western Strategy drill program minimises environmental, social, and recreational impacts on drill locations. Since the drill pads are already in place, they only need to be reinstated.

The utilisation of previously disturbed terrain is compatible with Anson’s goal of building a sustainable project while limiting environmental impact.
