WA based mining exploration company Anson Resources is preparing to commence a RC drilling program at its wholly owned Ajana Graphite Project.
The program, scheduled to commence later this month, involves RC drilling at both the Walcott Prospect and at the Mary Springs Prospect which has never been explored for graphite.
Anson said the drilling programs have been designed to confirm the grade, width and strike extent of the anomalies interpreted from the VTEM survey, to define resources target areas, as well as to confirm the graphite flake size distribution compared with earlier test work, which had been carried out on surface and near surface samples and drilling samples obtained at other locations of the project area.
“The drilling program is intended to comprise approximately 2,500m of RC drilling (35 holes) at the Mary Springs Prospect,” Anson told the ASX.
“High priority anomalies identified at the Walcott Prospect from the recently flown Versatile Time Domain Electromagnetic (VTEM) Survey are also planned to be drilled.”
