AQC appoints new CEO

Australian Pacific Coal (AQC) announced in a statement to the ASX that the company’s Executive Director, Mr John Robinson, has been promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

According to AQC, the appointment was made following an assessment of internal and external candidates, after which the company’s Chairman, Directors and Management concluded that Mr Robinson’s performance as Executive Director demonstrated that he is the best man for the job.

AQC also told the ASX that it is on track for completion of its acquisition of the Dartbrook project and that it its actively managing the transition process.

Australian Pacific Coal Limited is an Australian public company focusing on acquiring and developing coking, PCI and thermal coal deposits in Queensland. The Company now owns 33 coal tenements comprising 20 granted exploration permits (EPCs), 13 EPC applications and one mineral development licence application.
