According to the media release by Austin Engineering, the new Hitachi EX8000-6 excavator bucket is designed with OEM recommended maximum envelope “including correct boom stick geometry, boom and stick clearance, cab and deck structure clearance, and maximum suspended load.”

“End users can be assured that there will be no warranty implications with their machine,” it says in the media release.

Verified by FEA analysis, the new model was custom engineered, as are all mining buckets by Austin Engineering. Loading practices, material density and abrasiveness, potential for hang up, and dump height clearances are top priorities taken into consideration during the design process.

Complete service provider Austin Engineering offers on and off-site repair and maintenance and heavy equipment lifting services to customers including miners, mining contractors and original equipment manufacturers.
