AuTECO Minerals appoints new management team


Emerging mineral exploration company AuTECO Minerals has appointed a new management team as part of its strategy to grow and develop its asset portfolio, led by the rapidly growing Pickle Crow gold project in Ontario, Canada.

Darren Cooke, currently Chief Operating Officer at AuTECO, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Senior finance professional William Nguyen has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Joint Company Secretary.

Tabatha LeBlanc, a highly experienced environment and community relations specialist, has been appointed Vice President – Environment & Community.


Experienced geologist Juan Gutierrez has been appointed Group Chief Geologist.

“AuTECO’s success in attracting these high-quality managers reflects the strength and ongoing potential of our Pickle Crow Project,” said AuTECO Executive Chairman Ray Shorrocks in an ASX Announcement.

“By bolstering our team with this experience, we are aiming to take full advantage of the opportunity offered by our high-grade resource and infrastructure and to accelerate our growth and development strategy”.

The Pickle Crow Gold Project has a JORC 2012 Mineral Resource of 2.23 Moz at 7.8 g/t gold, and a new 50,000m drilling program is ongoing to speed up growth and expand the resource.

Pickle Crow is one of Canada’s highest-quality gold mines, producing 1.5 million ounces of gold at a grade of 16 grams per tonne.

In Western Australia, the company holds a joint venture on the Limestone Well Vanadium-Titanium Project.
