The result took Doray’s full year production tally from Andy Well to 88,736 ounces, which represents a 15% increase from the first year’s total of 76,785 ounces.

Doray’s Managing Director Allan Kelly said the result put the company well within reach of its upgraded full year guidance of 85,000-90,000 ounces and in a good position to complete funding and commence construction of its second high-grade gold project at Deflector.

“We started the second year of production knowing we had some challenges to overcome at Andy Well. As a result of the determined efforts of our workforce, we outperformed our expectations, including making consistent improvements in our operating costs,” Mr Kelly said.

“We also increased the size of the high-grade stage 2 open pit, outlined a third high-grade open pit at Suzie and subsequently met our upgraded full year guidance, while simultaneously launching and completing the takeover of Mutiny Gold Limited.”

The company owns two high-grade Western Australian gold assets: the operating Andy Well Gold Project and the development-ready Deflector Gold Project.
