According to the company, the initial stage 1 program of up to 2000m of RC drilling (carried out by Egan Drilling Services) is expected to be completed within two weeks, with results anticipated to arrive later in the quarter.

“Kingston is excited to start 2017 with the drilling of one of its primary lithium targets. We look forward to reporting results later in the quarter,” said Kingston’s Managing Director Andrew Corbett earlier this month.

“The current half is set to be another busy one for Kingston as we commence drilling across two further lithium prospects and the Livingstone Gold Project.”

Kingston said the geochemical work carried out at Mt Cattlin has helped define the extent of lithium mineralisation at Deep Purple South, outlining two parallel anomalous zones with a strike distance of up to 650m which form the primary targets for the initial drill program.

“In addition, the drilling is targeting areas with previously recorded high grade rock chips that averaged 2.34% Li2O with peak results grading up to 4.48% Li2O,” the company told the ASX.
