Korab Resources granted new exploration licence at Mt Elephant/Ashburton Downs project

Korab Resources’ wholly owned subsidiary Australian Copper has been granted the exploration licence E08/2756, located in the Ashburton Mineral Field within Mt Elephant/Asburton Downs project.

“The new licence covers stratigraphic units prospective for copper and gold,” Korab told the ASX.

“The licence adjoins other exploration licences held by Australian Copper in this area.”

Korab Resources is a diversified international mining and exploration company with gold, silver, phosphate and magnesite development projects and base metals exploration projects in Australia and Europe.

The company, whose resource inventory comprises 3.3 million ounces of gold and 16.3 million ounces of silver, operates the 3.3 million ounce Bobrikovo gold and silver mine in Ukraine, and the Geolsec phosphate mine and Winchester magnesite project in Australia.

Korab also explores for gold and base metals at Batchelor in the Northern Territory and explores for copper and gold at Ashburton Downs in Western Australia.
