Located within Lodestar’s wholly owned Ned’s Creek project on the northern Yilgarn tectonic margin, Contessa is associated with a large composite granite intrusion that displays extensive surface gold anomalism.

“The drilling is designed to in-fill around defined supergene mineralisation in sufficient detail to locate a discrete bedrock source and will also test bedrock geochemical targets identified by aircore drilling in 2014,” Lodestar told the ASX.

“Drilling is expected to commence toward the end of October, subject to Program of Works approval and weather conditions, with assay results a further three to four weeks from commencement of drilling.”
