Base metals exploration and development company Marindi Metals has commenced drilling operations at the Newman Base Metal Project.
The company’s Managing Director and CEO Joe Treacy told the market on Tuesday that the combination reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling rig had arrived on site and drilling commenced on Saturday, May 21.
“The first holes to be drilled will be on the main splay target at the Prairie deposit and then the rig will move to the Wolf prospect to drill the Exploration Incentive holes jointly funded by the Western Australian government,” Mr Treacy told the ASX.
“The rig will then drill the Titan co incident gravity and I.P anomaly at Titan before drilling I.P. anomaly at Prairie Pup. The program is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete.”
