NRW said the scope of the Yandi Oxbow Project is to sustain current production at the Yandi mine and includes the construction of a 4.5 km haul road, the construction of a heavy vehicle bridge over the existing railway and over 700,000cm of embankment construction.

In addition, NRW will build over 3200 lineal metres of culverts and perform upgrades, re-routing and extensions to existing light vehicle access roads.

“The contract is expected to run for 38 weeks commencing on site in late July 2016. At peak there will be over 130 workers required for the project,” NRW told the ASX on Friday.

“NRW will utilise its existing civil construction fleet for the project.”
