Diversified mineral exploration company Red River Resources (RVR) has signed an offtake agreement with global commodity producer Glencore for copper concentrate produced at its Thalanga base metal operations in northern Queensland.
Red River Managing Director Mel Palancian said the offtake agreement covers 100% of the copper concentrate produced at Thalanga until June 2023, with Glencore to take delivery of copper concentrate at the Thalanga mine gate.
“We are pleased to have a new agreement with Glencore for copper concentrate produced at Thalanga,” Mr Palancian stated.
“We have had great relationship since 2017 and we look forward to continuing this.”
Based in Melbourne, RVR is building a multi-asset operating business focused on base and precious metals. The company acquired the Thalanga operation in 2014 and commenced copper, lead and zinc concentrate production in September 2017.
