SRG Global awarded site infrastructure contracts in WA

SRG Global Ltd has been granted several site infrastructure contracts in Western Australia’s (WA) resources sector.

The overall value of the new works secured is ~$50 million, which includes the following:

  • Non-destructive testing, condition monitoring, and inspection services for BHP Iron Ore’s WA iron ore mine sites, rail, road, and port infrastructure. This contract renewal will last two years and will begin in March;
  • Specialised earthworks, mechanical, electrical, and HDPE lining for constructing BHP Nickel West‘s tailing storage facility. The contract has begun and is anticipated to be completed in four months;
  • Development of a tailings storage facility at Northern Star Resources’ Gidji mine site. The contract has begun and is anticipated to be completed in 8 months;
  • Earthworks and civil construction of a laydown area to accommodate the transport of Trains 3 and 4 to Albemarle Lithium’s Kemerton Lithium Processing Plant. The deal is planned to start in March and last for six months; and
  • Aviation infrastructure upgrade to the Tropicana aerodrome in the Goldfields region of WA for AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited. The contract has started, and it should be finished in three months.
