Strandline Resources Limited announced the completion of its fourth shipment of Heavy Mineral Concentrate (HMC).

According to Strandline, the announcement signifies progress as it works towards steady-state mineral sands production at its Coburn mineral sands project in Western Australia (WA).

Since beginning commercial production on 18 November 2022, the Company has shipped 35,000t of HMC, producing approximately A$36 million in sales revenue.

Strandline said the prices of the critical minerals included in the HMC shipments are much greater than the projections included in the June 2020 Coburn Final Feasibility Study.

Adertisement

Strandline has also produced more HMC, which is being fed into the Mineral Separation Plant (MSP) and is being stockpiled for future sales. The next cargo is scheduled on 20 April 2023.

The MSP was successfully handed over to Strandline from the construction contractor in March. The primary operational priority remains on enhancing plant and equipment availability, with the commissioning emphasis now shifting to refining mineral recoveries to final product streams.

“Another production milestone achieved by Strandline. Ramp-up of the mine and production facilities is progressing well, putting Strandline on track to publish FY24 production guidance in the coming quarter,” Strandline Managing Director Luke Graham said.
