The funding was awarded under WA Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme Co-funded Exploration Drilling Programme and is conditioned on Venus matching the funding grant on a dollar-for-dollar basis on direct drilling costs.

“A program of diamond drilling is being designed to test the previously announced, coincident geochemical anomalies and deeper structural geophysical VTEM/aeromagnetic targets on the Curara Well Project,” the company told ASX release.

“Venus looks forward to updating shareholders as exploration progresses at Curara Well.”

Venus holds three tenement applications covering its Doolgunna project (ELA 52/3068 & 3069 and the recent ELA 52/ 3320) in WA. These tenements cover over 120 km2 of the Marymia Inlier and are located approximately 10 km NE of Sandfire Resources high-grade Degrussa Copper Mine.
