Nagambie Resources Limited and its soon-to-be joint venture partner, Golden Camel Mining (GCM), have received a planning permit from the Strathbogie Shire for the construction of a gold toll treatment plant at the Nagambie Mine in Victoria.
Nagambie – which is finalising discussions with Golden Camel over a 50:50 joint venture (JVA) agreement for the toll treatment plant – said the initial treatment plant will have a nominal capacity of 180,000 tonnes of ore per annum.
Under the terms of the JVA, Golden Camel will pay for all the construction and commissioning costs and for the first fill of all consumables, with any future gold recovery improvements to be paid for 50:50 by both companies.
According to NRL’s statement, the plant is expected to be up and running by mid-2022.
“Construction of the facility, utilising selected existing plant in Australia, is planned by GCM to commence in the December 2021 quarter and be completed in the June 2022 quarter,” reads the statement.
