The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation has granted Bellevue Gold Limited the Tailings Facility and Water Storage licences for its Bellevue Gold Project.
According to Bellevue, the permits, awarded under the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (WA), are the last material permits necessary for the Bellevue Gold Project’s commissioning and full operation.
The company reported that construction and underground development are on schedule and within budget, with the first gold scheduled for the December 2023 quarter.
Located in Western Australia, the company said the Bellevue Gold Project is the “standout” high-grade, high-margin growth gold project in the country.
