Ampcontrol significantly expanded its presence and experienced team in Western Australia, relocating to new facilities in Kewdale to address growing industry demand for mine site electrification.
Additionally, Ampcontrol has expanded its services to include a cable workshop and moving to a new 9,500m2 production site, offering more than 20 years of cable service and management knowledge to customers in Western Australia.
According to Ampcontrol, the expansion follows its newly announced company vision to lead the world’s energy revolution with strategic plans for growth and expansion into new markets, regions, and cutting-edge energy transition solutions for the resources sector.
Ampcontrol focuses on renewable energy manufacturing, decarbonisation, and mine site electrification to diversify and grow its business.
“We want to collaborate with our customers to help them solve their most complex problems in energy. With an industry-wide push towards decarbonisation, it is a natural progression in the growth of our business to extend our service offerings to support mine sites in Western Australia to meet both customer and industry needs,” Ampcontrol Managing Director and CEO Rod Henderson said.
Ampcontrol offers local cable products and services to support surface and underground applications in decarbonisation efforts, with a fully stocked store of spare parts and consumables. Additional engineering designs are needed with Western Australia’s industry push for electrified machines.
