In response to her appointment to the group, Skyllas-Kazacos said she is delighted to accept the invitation as it will enable her to support the creation of a thriving vanadium industry in Australia.
Tivan Executive Chairman Grant Wilson said the company is delighted that Skyllas-Kazacos recognised the company’s capability to expand the commercialisation pathway for VRFB on a global basis.
“Maria’s invention is a critical enabling technology in the global energy transition, and an exemplar of Australian research and development. Her technical contributions in vanadium electrolyte and VRFB will be keenly sought as we move forward,” Wilson added.
