Monadelphous secures new and extended contracts

Monadelphous Group Limited announced it had secured new contracts and contract extensions worth roughly $150 million. 

Monadelphous has been granted a contract by Fortescue Metals Group to supply and construct an overland conveyor and transfer station at the Christmas Creek mine site in Western Australia. The civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works will begin immediately and are projected to be finished in the first half of 2024.

Monadelphous has also been awarded a two-year extension to its existing maintenance services contract at BHP‘s Olympic Dam operations in South Australia. Mechanical and electrical maintenance, shutdown, and project services are all part of the work.

Finally, the Company has received a two-year extension to its current contract with Rio Tinto to continue delivering mechanical, electrical, and access maintenance services during fixed plant shutdowns at its Gove operations in the Northern Territory.
