Orica Chairman Malcolm Broomhead today announced the retirement of Non-Executive
Directors, Ms Maxine Brenner and Mr Boon Swan Foo from the Board of Directors of Orica Limited, effective at the completion of the 2022 Annual General Meeting on 14 December 2022.

Mr Broomhead said: “Maxine Brenner has made an outstanding contribution to Orica during her tenure. Serving on several Board Committees, including Chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee, member of the Board Audit and Risk Committee, and the Nominations Committee. Ms Brenner’s extensive corporate advisory experience and clear counsel throughout the past nine years have been invaluable to the business.

“Boon Swan Foo joined the Board in 2019 and has served as a Member of the Innovation and Technology Committee, Board Audit and Risk Committee, and the Nominations Committee. Mr Swan Foo’s experience in the energy, oil and gas, and automotive industries, together with his commercial experience in the Asian region has been extremely valuable.

“I would like to acknowledge and thank both Directors for their contribution and commitment to Orica’s Board and wish them well with their future endeavours.

“We are well advanced in our Board succession processes to appoint additional Directors following these retirements, and expect to be in a position to announce further details at the Annual General Meeting next week.”
