SRG Global Limited announced a mine site infrastructure contract with Fortescue Metals Group valued at ~$55 million.
The infrastructure contract entails constructing a 21-kilometre haul road for an autonomous truck fleet at the existing Eliwana Mine site. The infrastructure contract is scheduled to begin in March 2023 and will last roughly 9 months.
“We are pleased to extend our longstanding relationship with Fortescue and look forward to delivering these works for Fortescue in addition to the asset maintenance works we are performing across a number of Fortescue’s site locations,” SRG Global Managing Director David Macgeorge said.
